Mendly Android app
The tap is dripping. Now what?
Tell Mendly what's broken in your own words. It asks a few questions, then writes a step-by-step repair guide for your home, with pictures, the tools you'll need, and what a repairman would have charged.
Free to use. No ads in the app.

What you get with every guide
Steps you can follow
Short numbered steps in plain language, each with a simple illustration, so you know what the part should look like before you touch it.
Tools and parts first
The list comes before step one, with the names used in Indian hardware shops, so you don't start a job and get stuck halfway.
What you saved
Each finished repair records roughly what a plumber or electrician would have charged, and your history adds it up.
- Dripping taps
- Blocked drains
- Geyser trips the MCB
- Loose door hinges
- Running toilet flush
- Fan wobble
- Broken curtain rod
- Peeling wall patches
How it works
Describe the problem
Type what you see in your own words. No plumbing vocabulary needed.
Answer a few questions
Mendly narrows it down, the way a repairman would on the phone.
Follow the guide
Tools first, then the steps. Your past repairs stay in the app.
When to call a professional
Mendly is for small repairs a careful person can do at home. It will tell you to stop and call a professional for gas lines, main electrical boards, structural work, and anything behind a wall. Turn off the power or the water before you start, and if a step doesn't look like your setup, stop.
What Mendly does with your information
Plain version, with the full detail in the privacy policy.
- Your account
- Your password is hashed, so it can't be read back, and your email address is stored encrypted.
- Your repair question
- Sent to an AI model provider so a guide can be written. Don't put personal details in the description; it only needs to know what's broken.
- Your repair history
- Kept on your phone so you can find old guides and see what you've saved.
- Deleting everything
- You can delete your account from inside the app, or from the account deletion page. Your account and its data are removed.
Questions about Mendly
Is it free?
Yes, and there are no ads inside the app. If we ever add a paid feature, the repair guides you use today stay free.
Does it work offline?
Writing a new guide needs the internet. Guides you've already opened stay on your phone, so you can follow them with the Wi-Fi off.
Which languages does it speak?
English today. Hindi is next, then Marathi. Tell us which language your household would use it in and it moves up the list.
What if the guide is wrong for my setup?
Stop and don't force anything. Indian homes vary a lot, and a guide is a starting point rather than an instruction from someone who can see your tap. Send us the guide from the app and we'll fix it.
When is it on the Play Store?
Once the company is registered, which is a few months away. Email us and we'll tell you the day it's live.
